P.D.O. Ribera del X\u00faquer<\/h1>\n

This name was chosen because the main production area for this magnificent fruit lies close to the banks of the X\u00faquer River (J\u00facar River). This river has an important influence on kaki cultivation, both from the agricultural point of view, providing water for irrigation, and due to the high fertility of these river basin lands.[\/et_pb_slide][et_pb_slide arrows_custom_color=”#666″ dot_nav_custom_color=”#666″ admin_title=”02″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″ body_text_align=”justify” body_text_color=”#666666″ background_color=”rgba(0,0,0,0)” background_enable_color=”on” background_layout=”light” custom_padding=”50px|10px|50px|10px|false|false”]The \u201cKAKI RIBERA DEL X\u00daQUER\u201d PROTECTED DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN is a quality mark created in 1998, recognised as a Protected Designation of Origin by the European Commission in 2001.<\/p>\n

Designations of Origin are organisations created and supervised by national and European administrations, recognising the singularities and differentiated quality of certain agri-food products in view of the particularities of the area in which they are produced.[\/et_pb_slide][et_pb_slide arrows_custom_color=”#666″ dot_nav_custom_color=”#666″ admin_title=”03″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″ body_text_align=”justify” body_text_color=”#666666″ background_color=”rgba(0,0,0,0)” background_enable_color=”on” background_layout=”light” custom_padding=”50px|10px|50px|10px|false|false”]This P.D.O. is one of the most fertile areas in Spain, with a long agricultural tradition, where kakis are grown in a privileged environment known as the \u201cGarden of Spain\u201d.<\/p>\n
