By certifying our products, we assure consumers that the kakis they buy meet the requirements established in the P.D.O.’s Specification, which is a regulatory document approved by the European Commission.<\/p>\n

Additionally, through promotional campaigns, we aim to promote a fruit variety which is virtually unknown to consumers in general.[\/dica_divi_carouselitem][dica_divi_carouselitem title=”Aims of the P.D.O.” button_url_new_window=”1″ image=”https:\/\/persimon.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/02-es.png” module_id=”kaki_mundo” module_class=”kaki_mundo” image_position=”image_right” mobile_on_top=”on” content_padding=”||||true|true” _builder_version=”4.0.6″ background_color=”rgba(0,0,0,0)” background_enable_color=”on”]The creation of Designations of Origin is an initiative from the European Commission serving to favour the population in rural areas offering differentiated, quality products. This allows consumers to identify and recognise these products, while enabling producers to obtain income permitting them to carry out their activities, and reducing the abandon of rural areas due to lack of profitability.[\/dica_divi_carouselitem][dica_divi_carouselitem title=”Aims of the P.D.O.” button_url_new_window=”1″ image=”https:\/\/persimon.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/03-es.png” module_id=”kaki_mundo” module_class=”kaki_mundo” image_position=”image_right” mobile_on_top=”on” content_padding=”||||true|true” _builder_version=”4.0.6″ background_color=”rgba(0,0,0,0)” background_enable_color=”on”]This means, first, that consumers buying a product certified by a Designation of Origin are buying a product of recognised and certified quality that meets the requirements established in the Specifications approved by the European Commission.
